OVERVIEW
The Christie’s London — Victorian Pre-Raphaelite and British Impressionist Art sale is scheduled on July 11, 2018. The auction features a wonderful selection of paintings, prints, and drawings by leading artists of the 18th and 19th centuries. The sale will feature major and important works by the likes of Dante Gabriel Rossetti, John Atkinson Grimshaw, John William Waterhouse, Henry Herbert LaThangue, Lady Laura Alma-Tadema, and Thomas Cooper Gotch.
 
The total sale realized from the Victorian Pre-Raphaelite and British Impressionist Art sale at Christie’s London last year was £3.7 million (including buyer’s premium) with 84 lots. This year, the auction is expected to realize a sale of between £4 million and £7 million and there are 179 works of 100 artists on offer.
