Fashion once again made statements amid all the fun and frolic apart from the customary loud music during the recently concluded 2018 Billboard Music Awards. Singer, stars and performers, all gathered at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for the musical gala. Performers like Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, Janet Jackson, and Ed Sheeran took to stage to entertain the crowd. However, it was their red carpet look that created all the buzz before their performances.

While it was the host that did all the talking for the awards night, but her outfits spoke louder than her. Singer Kelly Clarkson was the host for the night and she appeared  in eight different outfits. The designer behind the six of her outfits was Christian Siriano. She picked a black Siriano gown with a broad belt and a thigh-high slit for the red carpet entry, waking hand-in-hand with her husband Brandon Blackstock and half-daughter Savannah.

Taylor Swift stole everyone’s heart in her lavender Versace gown. She completed the look with Hueb earrings and Casadei shoes. The “Reputation” singer walked the red carpet wearing the gown with feather and embellished silver detailing on the bodice and it had a thigh-high slit. Singer Shawn Mendes looked all dapper in a Kooples suit, an Armani shirt underneath, along with Calvin Klein boots. He along with Khalid performed “Youth” during the show.

Tyra Banks, who appeared as a presenter, took fashion one notch higher with her Marc Bouwer figure-hugging black dress in knee-length. The ruffled collar and shoulders made the dress chic. Her sleek high pony made her stand out.

Presenter Bebe Rexha also donned Christian Siriano. She slayed in her velvet floor-length gown with tulle-spiked sleeves! Her all black magic charm from head to toe was enhanced by her black statement jewels and smoky eyes.

Janet Jackson who gave a powerful speech during the awards show walked the red carpet wearing a Rami Kadi gown. She wore a gold ensemble while performing on “Nasty.”

Jennifer Lopez wore a three-piece suit by Tom Ford with a cinched waist jacket and loose-fitting pants and performed her new single “Dinero.” She accessorized her almost covered look with a hat, gloves, wallet chain, and a belt. Even her microphone was encrusted with sparkling rhinestones. She wore a Roberto Cavalli to the red carpet.
