Giorgio Armani recently announced the availability of its Autumn Winter 2018/19 collection online with the tagline that reads, “Boundless explorations capture the atmosphere of the moment.”

Some of the highlights of the collection include Mohair and Alpaca sweater, sweatshirt with logo, Virgin Wool and Cashmere Sweater, and Ottoman skirt in shiny and opaque yarns.

Earlier, when the collection was launched on the ramp it was seen as the one without boundaries made of callings and echoes from faraway worlds. Reportedly, Giorgio Armani has imagined a super-feminine Autumn-Winter 18-19 collection drawing modernism from boundless domains and free paths. The designer said clothes influence one’s behaviour and vice versa. Elongated jackets, colorful furs and lace up boots in different styles and suitable for different occasions spelled elegance and invoked poetry. The length of the dresses in the collection varied from knee-high to short. The color palette that dominated the collection included red, black, pink, gray, powder blue and also metallic gray. The materials used were all winter friendly like silk, wool, knits, ecofur, velvet, crystals and feathers.

Fluid dresses, elongated coats, sweaters, short jackets to be paired with wide trousers ruled the collection. Shoes and accessories that go with the collection are military boots, ankle boots, faux-fur hats, flat clutches, lace-ups for mens, and lace-up cuissard boots.

Talking about the detailing, “Sweater in Mohair and Alpaca in reverse knit, which is worth $1,200 is a sweater made of inverted knit of mohair and alpaca with wavy detail in contrasting roll. Fineness of the shirt 7,” writes the Giorgio Armani website. “The winter season pushes to cover and to wrap itself in soft and warm clothes. Do it with a model that combines these features with an elegant and feminine design.”

Its composition comprises majorly Mohair wool, partly polyamide, and minimal wool.

Ottoman longuette in Shiny and opaque yarns in the collection come for $2,150. “A breath of decontract elegance is given by Ottoman work, enriched by an alternation between shiny and opaque yarns. The essential model allows you to play with combinations: choose a soft sweater for a casual look, match a chiffon blouse for more special occasions,” says the website.

Another must-have from the collection — turtleneck in virgin wool and cashmere stitched down is trendy and worth $1,200. “This sweater made of virgin wool and cashmere is knit stitched down, and will complement the casual looks with a decontracte elegance,” writes the website.
