McLaren made a splash in Beijing at the Auto China 2018 with a special edition 570GT MSO Cabbeen of which only four will be created.

The custom designed car designed in conjunction with McLaren Special Operations (MSO) and Mr. Cabbeen, a Chinese entrepreneur and designer, was unveiled at Auto China 2018. The Automotive Exhibition, which regularly attracts leading brands in the industry, was held between April 24-28, 2018. Importantly, the 570GT MSO Cabbeen features a Sports model’s distinctive design and includes a paint finish branded as “Obsidian Black.”

The Chinese elements on the car come in the form of a dragon that is hand painted onto the door inserts using Gloss Speedline Gold paint. With the dragons forming a striking contrast to the black, the 570GT MSO Cabbeen is a standout addition to the collection offered by the company. Additionally, the 15-Spoke GT wheel used on the vehicle has been specifically designed for it. The wheels along with the brake calipers also feature a finish in Gloss Speedline Gold.

The golden dragon also makes an appearance on the Rear Luggage Deck where it has been embroidered on to the surface by Kang Huifang in the Chao Embroidery style. In the interior, a dragon has been sculpted onto the Alcantara Centre Front Tunnel and this helps highlight the luxury the brand is famous for. Under the hood is a 3.8-liter McLaren V8 engine, and the 570 GT delivers performance on par with a McLaren Sports Series model.
